Hawaii 2012

Our annual vacation to Hawaii is a favorite!  Parker had a blast this year and we spent most of our time at the beach or the pool - very different from vacations past.

Parker loved the ocean and the sand hill at the beach outside of our condo.  He also loved the pool and was able to swim around by himself thanks to a life vest. 

The trip was all about Parker experiencing new things and us watching with great excitement.  We can't wait for next year!

Birthday Donuts

Another year and another donut birthday morning...a long lived and loved Cavner tradition.

Golf

Our bugs loves to golf. He also relates golf clubs, golf balls and golf carts to Papa because of the lunches at Del Paso Country Club and the hours spent on the putting green and driving a cart. This time, we golfed at the Sequoia Woods Country Club during a weekend at the cabin. Parker also used a mini golf club. He loves spending time on the green!

We had a fun pirate themed 2nd birthday party for Parker. All of his friends came and bounced their little hearts out (while eating cotton candy and snow cones between bounces). And the best part of the birthday was when we sang Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me to Parker instead of Happy Birthday. Parker and all of the kids loved the song. They were singing, clapping and dancing so much we sang it twice!

After Birthday Shave

I love our neighbors and our street. I love Amy, Aaron, Avery and Harrison...and they love us! Harrison and Avery gave Parker a shaving kit for his birthday and Harrison joined Parker in the bath to show him how to shave. What fun!

Boxed In

Parker loves sitting in boxes. I came into his room this morning and the lad had climbed in one of his toy crates. He was reading busy reading a book when all of a sudden he fell back. He laughed all the way down and then continued reading. Such a happy boy.
